Drainfield Materials
At Yoder Septic Service, we offer several different drainfield material options so you can choose the system that works best for your property.
Standard Option: ChambersAt Yoder Septic Service, chambers are currently our standard drainfield option. They are one of the two more affordable drainfield choices. Chambers are essentially a plastic tunnel that allows wastewater to flow through the system and disperse into the soil.

Option 2: EasyFlowAt Yoder Septic Service, EasyFlow is the other budget-friendly drainfield option we offer. EasyFlow is made up of styrofoam pellets contained in a plastic mesh sleeve. Inside the pellets is a 4-inch corrugated pipe that allows the wastewater to flow through the system and disperse into the soil.

Option 3: Rock & PipeAt Yoder Septic Service, pipe and rock is the highest-quality drainfield option we offer. It generally lasts longer than the other two options. However, it is also the more expensive choice because it requires more labor and equipment to install.
This system is installed by placing rock in a 3-foot-wide ditch with a corrugated pipe running through the center. The rock helps filter the wastewater and allows it to disperse evenly into the surrounding soil. |
